Epic 2 Week Oregon Coast Road Trip Itinerary

Intro

Are you planning an Oregon Coast road trip to visit stunning beaches that are surrounded by rugged cliff sides and voluminous Pacific Ocean waves? Then look no further! As a born and raised Oregonian, I have made many beach trips during my childhood and I still do as an adult. There is truly no shortage of camping, hiking, beach going and just overall sightseeing. I wanted to take the very best of my trips over the years and compile them together to make a 2 week itinerary for you to help with your future planning.

What’s great about this itinerary is that the bulk of the driving that you’ll be doing is on Highway 101. Taking 101 is hands down the best way to really experience the Oregon coastline. This allows you to see breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Granted this is still the Pacific Northwest so don’t be surprised if you arrive and it’s chilly and gloomy. Yes, even in the summer! These beaches are not like California or Florida beaches; it can still get cold in the summer.

This itinerary will take you from Astoria to Brookings, which allows you to truly soak up as much of the 363 miles of coastline that Oregon has. If you haven’t visited before, you will surely be taken aback by the small coastal towns interwoven along the forests and sand dunes that overlook the amazing beaches. Alright! Without further ado, here is your Oregon Coast itinerary.
